I was thinking about this a lot lately, and was hoping you guys could help me come to a conclusion on how we should work with this loophole. Right now the rule with dropping a player is pay 25% of a 1 year contract, 50% of a 2 year contract, 75% of a 3 year contract. I was thinking that we need to come to a conclusion on how to fix this because as I was thinking. If you were a non-playoff team you could literally go and drop every player before playoffs start and retain 75% of the salaries towards next year. Also, another example which can be improved on is that I have Michael Brantley at 2 years 14 million and he has barely played this year. If I were to drop him right now I could retain 7 million for next year and go from there. If you guys have any ideas for this that would be much appreciative as we can try and fix this loophole.
