Once bidding is complete, a prospect draft will take place and the rules will go as follows:
1. Every team will draft 5 prospects from MLB.com's top 100 prospect list that HAVE NOT already been won by a team during the bid. 2. The prospects will not go on your 40 man roster immediately. Essentially, you will own the rights to these players until you decide to call the up to your 40 man roster team. They will not formally be on your 40 man roster on ESPN and will not count towards your salary budget until you call them up to your 40 man roster. 3. Each player will be worth the minimum ($500,000) for up to 3 YEARS of team control. However, how those 3 YEARS will work is that whether you call them up April 1st or October 1st, it will count as a full year. If they are on your team for just one day during the season that will count as a year. You can not "send down" these players either. Once you call them up you have them for those 3 years unless you drop them. 4. After those 3 years, they will become free agents, team options are not available to prospects. 5. The draft order will be picked out of a hat for this first year, and in future years it will be like in the MLB, with it being reverse order of the previous season's regular season.

Rule Update 1/26/16: 10 prospects will be chosen instead of 5. Prospects do not have to be on top 100 list and can be international prospects as well.

Rules Update 5/16/16: Future drafts will not be snake drafts. So whoever finishes last this year will get first pick every round, like in MLB. I only did snake this year so certain teams wouldn't be overly disadvantaged or advantaged based off of a hat draw.
